Welcome to the UW Locations API!
Use the Locations API to get basic information about campus locations,
including buildings, rooms, branch campuses, and non-building locations
like athletic fields.
Requesting access
You’ll need to have your use case approved by the relevant data steward for your campus before you can use the API.

Frequently asked questions
Anyone with a legitimate use case can get access. You’ll need to submit an access request, which will be reviewed by the locations data steward for your campus.
The API includes a number of attributes like IDs, names, mailing addresses, and organizational hierarchy. See our OpenAPI specification for a machine-readable description in detail, or read our documentation for further explanation.
