Usages

Each location has one or more Usages assigned to it. These indicate how the space is intended to be used.

You should query the API for the most up-to-date list of all available usages, but at the time of writing it includes:

BUSINESS This is usually only assigned to top level campus locations.

BUSINESS ASSET This is a location where capital assets may be stored or used.

BUSINESS SITE A site where the university carries out its business. Most buildings are business sites.

CAMPUS Only used for top level campus locations.

SHIP-TO This location can be used as a ship-to address. This usually indicates that the location has at least a mailbox. Some ship-to locations may have loading docks or other facilities.

WORK SPACE A location that may serve as someone’s assigned workspace.
